Magdalena from Poland joined ERAD 2022 conference in Locarno with ITC grants

“My name is Magda and I work as a specialist in the Nowcasting department at the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management in Poland. Thanks to an ITC grant, I won, I could attend the ERAD 2022 conference in Locarno. Such a big conference was a very interesting and uplifting experience for me, especially that I could also present a poster about the latest works in our team and get acquainted with the latest research conducted in the world of radar and nowcasting meteorology.

Anna Špačková from Czech Republic presented at EGU 2022 in Vienna, section “Precipitation variability from drop scale to catchment scale: measurement, processes and hydrological applications”.

“My PhD studies started just with the Covid pandemic spread. I had not experienced any conference before I attended EGU in 2022. Therefore, I greatly appreciate the opportunity to get in contact with other researchers, present my work and enjoy the conference atmosphere. All this happened thanks to the ITC grant.”
